Who I Work with

Adults, teenagers, and children (ages 6 and up) who encounter various challenges and are motivated to make a change in their lives and to better understand themselves.

You may find yourself relating to one or more these situations.

Anxiety

Constant worry, unproductive thoughts that seem impossible to turn off. feeling tense and on edge for no clear reason. Difficulty to focus on daily tasks and enjoy the present moment.

Perfectionism and Self Criticism

Felling like like nothing you do is ever “good enough”. Spending a substantial amount of time reviewing details, fearing mistakes, or worrying about how others perceive you.

Depression and Burnout

Loss of interest or pleasure in things that once mattered to you, low energy, or a sense of emptiness that’s hard to explain. Faded motivation and the feeling of exhaustion or meaningless.

Life transitions

Moving to a new place or changing careers can bring both excitement and uncertainty. Even positive changes can stir up feelings of stress, doubt, or loss of stability

Social skills and communication

Difficulties to express yourself, set boundaries, or connect comfortably with others. You might worry about saying the wrong thing, feel anxious in social situations, or struggle to handle conflict effectively.

Anger management

irritability, frustration, or intense reactions that feel hard to control. Incontrollable anger can becomes overwhelming or expressed in unhelpful ways, it can strain relationships and leave you feeling guilty or out of control.

Low self esteem

Constant self-doubt, difficult to see your strengths or believe in your own worth. This can can affect relationships, decision-making, and overall happiness.

Phobias

Intense, often irrational fears of specific situations or objects — like flying, heights, animals, or crowded spaces. Even when you logically know there’s no real danger, the fear can feel overwhelming.

How CBT can help you

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short term goal oriented therapy that helps you understand how your thoughts influence your well being and behavior.

Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. By identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and learning practical strategies to challenge and change them, CBT empowers you to manage difficulties more effectively and create lasting, positive change in your life.

Therapy that gives you tools, not just talk

  • Identify unhelpful patterns that keep you feeling stuck

  • Learn concrete skills to manage anxiety, stress and difficulties

  • Practice new ways of responding to challenges so change becomes sustainable

Ready to begin?

You don't have to go through this alone. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or simply ready to change, therapy can be a supportive pace to start

We'll begin with a short conversation to see what you need and how I can help

Meet Nofar

I am a licensed LiCBT therapist with a passion for helping people create meaningful change in their lives. My work focuses on empowering people to understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviors and to build healthier patterns that support a more balanced fulfilled life.

In addition to being a therapist, I am also a Neuroscientists. I have dedicated years to studying behavior, mood disorders, the brain's immune system and neurodegenerative diseases.

Brain research gives me a science-based perspective which I incorporate in therapy.

Therapy should not only be a place to talk, but also a place to learn and implement tools yu can use in everyday life.
